  • Following line is added to the file /etc/inittab for applying root password to the single user mode:
~~:S:wait:/sbin/sulogin
  • Is there a specific rule regarding the location of above line in /etc/inittab file?
  • "~:S:wait:/sbin/sulogin" is written before or after rc.sysinit in /etc/inittab file?
