virt-p2v fails in an LDAP environment

The following error is noticed when using p2v instructions :
cannot find any suitable libguestfs supermin, fixed or old-style appliance on LIBGUESTFS_PATH(search path: /usr/lib64/guestfs) at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Sys/VirtConvert/GuestfsHandle.pm line 96, <> line 7.
