Why can't "queue_if_no_path" feature of device mapper multipath be disabled?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • The multipath configuration feature queue_if_no_path cannot be disabled. This can be confirmed by looking at multipath -ll output and it is seen that features="1 queue_if_no_path" is set and thus it is concluded that this feature is not disabled.
