Why is /proc/sys/kernel/panic_on_unrecovered_nmi not enabled by default in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4?
Issue
- According to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 Update 3 Release Notes, /proc/sys/kernel/panic_on_unrecovered_nmi should be enabled by default however. It's actually set to "0" by default.
