yum produces raises EOFError exception and traceback trace on RHEL 5
Issue
- yum fails to run successfully and throw an EOFError exception
- exception originates in "/usr/lib64/python2.4/pickle.py", line 894, in load_eof
- prints a python traceback
- rpm packages fail to install
