[Satellite6] Satellite Server Experiencing Slowness

Issue

• All tasks running on the Satellite Server is very slow.
• Navigating from one option to another option in the Satellite WEBUI takes more time.
• The Satellite server has met all the pre-requisites mentioned in the installation guide but still experiencing slowness.

• When creating a new host and the choice is made to "Deploy on: VMWare" we get a "Invalid configuration for device '4'."

  • Because of the big VMWare-invironment a sign is shown which shows that Satellite is busy getting the VMWare-information

  • But when you, without waiting for the sign to finish, choose a different "Compute profile" and then go on with filling out everything and at the end do Submit, then an error at VMWare appears saying:

    "Invalid configuration for device '4'."
