TCP: how do I find where a netstat statistics (-s) counter is incremented in the kernel?
Issue
- I am using it to authenticate Cisco devices. This fails on some devices and appears to be related to the kernel resetting the connection. I see "connections reset due to unexpected data" counter increase every time the device fails to authenticate.
Also the 'resets sent' counter increases as well. - How do I find out where these "netstat -s" counters are incremented in the kernel code?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- Fedora FC19
- TACACS
