Passwords not saved in JBDS server connection properties
Issue
- Entering passwords into the server properties are not saved
- Attempting to enter a password and save the details results in the password field being blanked out.
- Unable to connect to server in JBDS
- Attempting to connect to server results in error similar to:
The intialisation produced an exception, which can occur due to incorrect security credentials. Please review the exception messages by clicking the Details button.
* java.io.IOException: java.net.ConnectException: JBAS012174: Could not connect to remote://server.example.com:9999. The connection failed

* Authentication failed: all available authentication mechanisms failed
