Change permissions on devices in RHEL 6

Issue

  • Is it possible to change device permissions?

  • RHEL 5 includes /etc/security/console.perms.d/ that can be configured to limit access to devices

  • I've found /etc/security/console.perms.d/ does not exist in the RHEL 6. Does the functionality exist and what files do I edit and where?
