How do I monitor my Red Hat Enterprise Linux Clustering with net-snmp

  • While cluster-snmp provides the MIBs to monitor cluster suite I can't find any trap definitions in there. Does cluster-snmp provide traps for Cluster Suite?

  • You want your SNMP installation to also monitor your Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 cluster. You have already installed SNMP and have configured it for access as described here: How do I configure an SNMP server on Red Hat Enterprise Linux?

  • Red Hat Cluster Suite 4+
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 Advanced Platform (Clustering)
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5 (with the High Availability or Resilient Storage Add Ons)
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6 (with the High Availability or Resilient Storage Add Ons)
