Why do I see "multipathd[2342]: segfault at" errors in /var/log/messages when stopping multipathd or shutting down RHEL5?
Issue
Stopping multipathd generates segfault errors in the log file, but this does not create any working issues. The log files shows entries similar to:
multipathd[18083]: segfault at 000000000000000a rip 0000003e8106feb9 rsp 00007fff17715620 error 4
