sendmail command gives a segmentation fault.

Issue

  • sendmail command segfaults :
# sendmail 
Segmentation fault

# sendmail -d0.1
Version 8.14.4

Segmentation fault
  • service restart also give error:
]# service sendmail start
Starting sendmail: /bin/bash: line 1:  7184 Segmentation fault      /usr/sbin/sendmail -bd -q1h
                                                           [FAILED]

And from the maillog file :

]# cat /var/log/maillog-20120708
