JBoss ON ignoring discovery of EAP6 server or child resources because of plugin error
Issue
- The agent discovers the EAP6 server:
+ Resource[id=0, uuid=99540167-027f-480c-8a5f-9a27f34963f4, type={JBossAS7}JBossAS7 Host Controller, key=/export/home/fhlbae0/jboss-eap-6.0/domain, name=EAP Domain Controller (10.40.0.200:19990), parent=websvcsqa-brad, version=EAP 6.0.0.GA] (sync=NEW, state=STARTED, avail=UNKNOWN, sched=0/0)
- But the rhq-server-log4j.log ignores it:
2012-07-12 14:51:34,158 ERROR [org.rhq.enterprise.server.discovery.DiscoveryBossBean] Reported resource [Resource[id=0, uuid=99540167-027f-480c-8a5f-9a27f34963f4, type={JBossAS7}JBossAS7 Host Controller, key=/export/home/fhlbae0/jboss-eap-6.0/domain, name=EAP Domain Controller (10.40.0.200:19990), parent=websvcsqa-brad, version=EAP 6.0.0.GA]] has an unknown type [{JBossAS7}JBossAS7 Host Controller]. The Agent most likely has a plugin named 'JBossAS7' installed that is not installed on the Server. Resource will be ignored...
- The Plugin is INDEED installed to the JON Server, as I can see it through the JON Interface under Administration / Agent Plugins.
- Additionally, their MD5 Hash matches on both the JON Agent and also the JON Server.
