Volume group is not activating during the boot time.

Issue

We have a non root lvm volume group local_oracle which is created using internal RAID disks, but it is not activating during the boot time, and server goes in to maintanance mode.
Booting the server into single user mode and activating the volume group manually works perfectly. Please let us know why the local volume group was failing to get activated in boot process?
