Spawning 250 or more instances fails with error "ERROR (ConnectionError): HTTPConnectionPool"

Issue

  • We are trying to spawn 250 instances concurrently with nova boot command.
nova boot --flavor m1.small --image rhel-7.1 --nic net-id=a74d89ba-b1d0-41ca-b12f-987f8dfa16e3 --key-name root-osp1-sah-rhosm --min-count 250 rhel-7.1
  • We got this error on the CLI, but all the 250 instances booted fine and went into ACTIVE state without any issues.
ERROR (ConnectionError): HTTPConnectionPool(host='87.44.1.18', port=8774): Max retries exceeded with url: /v2/205f244a7c9541d1b2423b057d17f062/servers (Caused by <class 'httplib.BadStatusLine'>: '')

How can we get rid of this message?
