"Rebuild Instance" failed to terminate process 26056 with SIGKILL: Device or resource busy]
Issue
- Cinder volume is attache to the instance. If we try to
Rebuild Instance, it fails with below error:
Error: Failed to launch instance "abc1": Please try again later [Error: Failed to terminate process 26056 with SIGKILL: Device or resource busy
- From
nova-compute.log:
[instance: 2f895c44-7e10-4248-b62b-7f1cd0d389b8] Error from libvirt during destroy. Code=38 Error=Failed to terminate process 27366 with SIGKILL: Device or resource busy
