Using mod_cluster and siteminder doesn't work

Issue

  • Using mod_cluster and siteminder doesn't work. The httpd daemon denies some MCMP requests, but not all.
  • With siteminder enabled, mod_cluster MCMP requests are returning a 302 response.
  • The JBoss EAP6 server not able to connect to Apache httpd server and EAP6 server.log shows below messages.
ERROR [org.jboss.modcluster] (ContainerBackgroundProcessor[StandardEngine[jboss.web]]) MODCLUSTER000042: Error null sending INFO command to localhost/127.0.0.1:6666, configuration will be reset: null

And Apache httpd access_log shows below message.

127.0.0.1 - - [26/Apr/2016:08:52:53 -0500] "INFO / HTTP/1.1" 302 493 "-" "ClusterListener/1.0" 768
