rgmanager could not start SAP instance

Issue

  • rgmanager is not able to start SAP ERS Instance. Following message is seen in the logs
SAP_00: Cannot open Profile //XX_ERS10_XXX. (Error 2 No such file or directory) [/bas/740_REL/src/proj/ntserv/ntservmainux.cpp 1012]
FAIL: NIECONN_REFUSED (Connection refused), NiRawConSep 26 09:33:25 
rgmanager [SAPInstance] SAP Instance XXX-ERS10 start failed.
XXXX rgmanager start on SAPInstance "XXX_XXX_XXXX8" returned 1 (generic error)
XXXX rgmanager #68: Failed to start service:xxx; return value: 1
XXXX rgmanager Stopping service service:xxx
  • rgmanager could not start the SAP instance resource, manually starting the SAP instance using rg_test command results in following error messages:
