Locked out of Openshift Management while configuring authentication

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

  • I was trying to enable the Allow All authentication provider. After being able to login into the web console, I tried the same from the CLI. I found that I had no authorizations in OpenShift. I then tried logging out, and trying some of the commands. I was denied. I tried logging in as root, and was still denied access to all commands. And attempt to add roles to a user fails, as I am not authorized.

  • How can I create an authorize a user so I have full admin access to the entire OpenShift system. While I believe I am familiar with the commands, I need to know how to do so when I have been locked out. Would you please provide a step-by-step set of instructions on resolving this. I am satisfied with HTPassword authentication as this is only a POC.
