Ceph - Why is my ceph cluster usage (ceph df or rados df output) lower than the total pools size ?
Issue
- Why is my ceph cluster usage (ceph df or rados df output) lower than the total pools size?
- When calculating the overhead usage on my cluster I am coming up with a negative number.
- Ceph OSD total usage is less than overall pool size including replicas.
Environment
- Red Hat Ceph 1.2.3
- Red Hat Ceph 1.3
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
- Openstack
- Copy-on-write Snapshotting
