RHEL4 : Can not extend filesystem with `ext2online`

Issue

After successfully extending a logical volume, resizing the file system with ext2online fails.

Example of output in verbose mode :

# ext2online -v /dev/mapper/vg01-lvol1

ext2online: unable to resize /dev/mapper/vg01-lvol1
