HP Ethernet 1GB 4-port 331FLR adapter is not working on Red Hat enterprise Linux 5.6.

Issue

• We have installed RHEL-5.6 on HP DL380 G8 server with a HP Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 331FLR Adapter.
• The 1st interface (eth0) won't pass traffic even though the switch and interface show it's up and 1000MB full duplex.
• The 4th interface (eth3) does pass traffic and shows up as 100MB.
• We have also installed the latest driver rpms from HP (3.122p-1) but still its not working.
• Are there any know issues with RHEL-5.6 x86_64 with this interface running at 1GB auto-negotiate with a cisco switch ?
