RHEV: Virtual Machines unable to start after unsuccessful migration

Issue

  • The following error is presented in RHEV Manager (web interface) when trying to start a Virtual Machine:
Error while executing action:
    Cannot run VM. VM is being migrated.
  • Customer cannot start some Virtual Machines due to them supposedly being migrated.
  • This migration never finishes, no matter how long the customer waits.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.5
  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Hypervisor release 6.5
    • kernel-2.6.32-431.20.3.el6
    • ovirt-node-3.0.1-18.el6_5.11
    • libvirt-0.10.2-29.el6_5.9
    • qemu-kvm-rhev-0.12.1.2-2.415.el6_5.10
