Why Sos report crashing with error 7 in libcrypto.so.1.0.1e?

Issue

  • sosreport ended up in a core dump, and the following in dmesg on the console: 
dmesg:

00007fffb7532440 error 7 in libcrypto.so.1.0.1e[3dba400000+1b9000]
