yum update fails with missing dependency while upgrading Satellite 6

Issue

  • While upgrading Satellite from version 6.0 to 6.1 yum update fails with,
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Package: katello-1.5.0-30.el7sat.noarch (@katello-local)
           Requires: katello-installer
           Removing: katello-installer-0.0.67-1.el7sat.noarch (@rhel-7-server-satellite-6.0-rpms)
               katello-installer = 0.0.67-1.el7sat
           Obsoleted By: katello-installer-base-2.3.17-1.el7sat.noarch (rhel-7-server-satellite-capsule-6.1-rpms)
               Not found
           Available: katello-installer-0.0.64-1.el7sat.noarch (katello-local)
               katello-installer = 0.0.64-1.el7sat
 You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
 You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
