Does Red Hat provide support for RHEL 6 High Availability clusters using pacemaker without cman, or with the "classic openais" plugin?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • Can I use pacemaker in my RHEL High Availability cluster without cman?
  • Does Red Hat support pacemaker with the "classic openais" stack?
  • Is it supported to run a pacemaker cluster with the openais plugin instead of with cman?
  • I am running an Intel Enterprise Edition for Lustre that uses pacemaker without cman, using the "classic openais" plugin instead. Can I receive support from Red Hat on this deployment?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) with the High Availability Add On
  • pacemaker

    • Membership for the cluster is configured through /etc/corosync/corosync.conf instead of /etc/cluster/cluster.conf
    • corosync is configured to load the pacemaker plugin in /etc/corosync/corosync.conf:
    service {
            name: pacemaker
            ver:  ...
    }
