Issue

  • Looking at /var/log/messages file I found the following messages were logged:
Jul 21 17:07:50 hostname abrt: Kerneloops: Reported 2 kernel oopses to Abrt
Jul 21 17:07:50 hostname abrtd: Directory 'kerneloops-1437466070-14326-2' creation detected
Jul 21 17:07:50 hostname abrtd: Crash is in database already (dup of /var/spool/abrt/kerneloops-1385978480-4294-1)
Jul 21 17:07:50 hostname abrtd: Deleting crash kerneloops-1437466070-14326-2 (dup of kerneloops-1385978480-4294-1), sending dbus signal
Jul 21 17:07:50 hostname abrtd: Directory 'kerneloops-1437466070-14326-1' creation detected
Jul 21 17:07:50 hostname abrtd: New crash /var/spool/abrt/kerneloops-1437466070-14326-1, processing
  • Does these messages indicate a kernel panic occured?
