Pacemaker UCS fence agent cannot connect, fails with: "Unable to connect/login to fencing device"
Issue
- I am trying to use pacemaker and have Cisco UCS. The
stonithagent for UCS is unable to connect. I am testing with thefence_cisco_ucscommand as suggested by the RH pacemaker documentation. I am wondering if this has something to do with the UCS allowing multiple authentication methods including local and active directory. searching the internet, other utilities that connect to ucs allow you specify the "realm" or "domain" but this option does not appear available with this agent. Even with the -v option, the command gives very little output:
Unable to connect/login to fencing device
- fence_cisco_ucs fails to connect to UCS device and fails every time to:
Unable to connect/login to fencing device
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux(RHEL) 7.1
- Pacemaker
- fence_cisco_ucs
