mod_cluster proxies failing with address translation

Issue

  • We have a NAT (network address translation) between mod_cluster and JBoss. Proxies fail like below because they use the address JBoss is bound to when it needs to use the translated address instead:

    [error] (113)No route to host: proxy: ajp: attempt to connect to 127.0.0.1:8009 (127.0.0.1)
