Why qpid broker fails to join a cluster due to wrong SASL mechanism?

Issue

We have a problem joining second broker to a cluster when requiring authentication. Broker on the first node is successfully running but a startup attempt of the second node everytimes fails with "Daemon startup failed: Desired mechanism(s) not valid: ANONYMOUS (supported: PLAIN)" error.
