'perf list' displaying unsupported events

Issue

Despite L1-icache-loads being listed in perf list cache output, the event is stated as <not supported> in perf stat output as shown here:

# perf list cache | grep L1-icache-
  L1-icache-loads                                    [Hardware cache event]
  L1-icache-load-misses                              [Hardware cache event]
  L1-icache-prefetches                               [Hardware cache event]
  L1-icache-prefetch-misses                          [Hardware cache event]

# perf stat -e L1-icache-loads sleep 3

   <not supported> L1-icache-loads
