clusvcadm –Z prevents a service from halting/failing over, but will it also prevent the hosts from being fenced by qdisk timeouts?
Issue
- During a SAN switch test in which one switch was rebooted and the other left live the cluster halted/rebooted due to qdisk timeouts. We wish to avoid future occurrences of this specific scenario during future SAN maintenance.
- Is there a command that prevents a server from being fenced by qdisk timeouts?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5 or 6 with the High Availability Add on
