logrotate for rsyslog missing missingok
Issue
Many of our VMs are created with a cleaned out /var/log . Most of rsyslogs log files are usually recreated when logrotate runs. Some (eg /var/log/spooler ) are not recreated, making logrotate very unhappy.

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0
