Is the changed sysprep for Windows 2008 and 2012 by Windows System Image Manager (WSIM) and Windows Automated Installation Kit (WAIK) work with Cloudforms?

Issue

  • I was able to deploy templates imported from vcenter but the goal to achieve is to deploy a "customized" windows image like hostname, users, passwords, etc.
  • I've to configure WDS service and test if I can deploy an image, before to connect it to CloudForms. But as you know, Microsoft changed Sysprep for Windows 2008 and 2012 by Windows System Image Manager (WSIM) and Windows Automated Installation Kit (WAIK). Do you have any updates or information about this modification?.
  • Deploy customized vmware template with PXE.

Environment

  • Red Hat CloudForms 3.2
  • Vmware 5.5 with vcenter 5.5
