Why does Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 installation GUI not start on Cisco UCS C220M3 ?
Issue
- Trying to bring up new Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.1 server on Cisco UCS C220M3 with the latest hardware firmware 2.0.6d.
- Using
KVMmapped DVD to boot installation DVD, installation starts but when it should show GUI screen for language selection, getting black screen with just moving mouse cursor, nothing else happens post that.

- Cisco UCS C220M3
