AMQ MasterSlave does not handle zookeeper outage

Issue

We have setup a MasterSlave AMQ cluster, randomly we see the container that hosts the AMQ cluster lose connection to the Zookeeper ensemble. When the connection loss is greater than approximately 5 seconds, the entire AMQ cluster more or less self destructs, leaving the cluster in a state where both AMQ containers are up and running, but neither is the master.
