Cluster fails to start with the error "Relax-NG validity error : Extra element quorumd in interleave"

Issue

When attempting to start Red Hat Enterprise Linux cluster using a quorum disk, we reseive the following error:

Starting cman... Relax-NG validity error : Extra element quorumd in interleave tempfile:49: element quorumd: Relax-NG validity error : Element cluster failed to validate content Configuration fails to validate                                                            [  OK  ]
Starting qdiskd...                                                            [FAILED]

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 w/ High Availability or Resilient Storage
  • cman/rgmanager
  • qdisk
