Migration of a VirtualDomain resource in a RHEL 7 pacemaker cluster fails due to "error: Failed to open file '<file>': No such fi"

Issue

  • We attempted to migrate a VirtualDomain resource to another node, and it failed with a "No such file or directory error" (that seems to have been cut off).
  • We have tried to live migrate a virtual system with in the cluster and it gave an error and failed

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 or 7 with the High Availability Add On
  • pacemaker
  • One or more VirtualDomain resources in the CIB
    • allow-migrate=true in the meta attrs for one or more VirtualDomain resources
