Open Manage, third party storage manager package from Dell, does not work with RHEL 7.1

Issue

  • Open Manage tool v8.1.0 from Dell, which is used to manage storage, does not detect the LSI/PERC storage controllers on Dell servers after upgrading to RHEL 7.1.
  • Works ok in RHEL 7.0 release.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.1
