What HTTPS proxy rules are required to pull images from docker.io?
Issue
- What HTTPS proxy rules are required to pull images from
docker.io? - Docker unable to pull images from DockerHub
- We have to use a corporate proxy. I'm able to successfully pull
registry.access.redhat.com/rhel7successfully. - Pulling an image from Docker Hub fails:
# docker pull distribution/registry
Trying to pull repository registry.access.redhat.com/distribution/registry ... not found
Trying to pull repository docker.io/distribution/registry ... failed
FATA[0007] Get https://registry-1.docker.io/v1/repositories/distribution/registry/tags: read tcp 10.0.0.1:8443: connection reset by peer.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
- docker commandline tool
- HTTPS SSL TLS proxy between docker client and access to the internet
