The method sessionDestroyed of HttpSessionListener is not invoked when the jboss stops

Issue

  • I have custom listener which implements HttpSessionListener but it's method sessionDestroyed is not getting invoked while shutting down the JBoss EAP 5.2 server.
  • This custom listener is in my clustered application as it has <distributable/> tag in it's web.xml.

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
    • 5.2.0
