How to write a Task Service with expiration/escalation/notification in JBoss B*MS?

Issue

  • In my process I want to control the SLA of the human tasks. In the model of jBPM I try to use a timer for this, when the time is expired I want to send an email or call a WebService to send a SMS to a manager. In other cases I want to reassign the task to another user.
