A resource fails to start with the error "requires (un)fencing but fencing is disabled" in a Pacemaker cluster
Issue
- When the cluster tries to start DLM, it fails and logs the following message:
node1 pengine[2694]: warning: common_unpack: dlm-clone requires (un)fencing but fencing is disabled
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 or 7 (with the High Availability Add-on)
- Pacemaker
