Does Red Hat support deploying Camel as an EAR in EAP 6?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

According to the Red Hat online documentation and the knowledge base Camel on EAP is supported via a WAR deployment.

It would be much more convenient for us to use an EAR packaging instead of a WAR due to env-entry scope conflicts when deploying several EJBs packaged in this WAR. With EAR packaging, env-entries of each EJB would be properly isolated.
Will Red Hat support packaging the Camel library as a library in an EAR archive? i.e. the same way the packaging is done for the WAR deployment?

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Fuse 6.1.0
  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Plaform (EAP) 6.x
