Issues accessing user portal using IE8, IGEL clients

  • Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization 3.5
  • Internet Explorer 8
  • Windows 7
  • IGEL thin client

Issue

  • When I access the RHEV 3.5 user portal on a Windows based IGEL UD3 thin client, I get the login screen, enter my username & password, then get an error saying there is a long running script and do I want to kill it.
  • This was working on RHEV 3.3 but we've now upgraded.

Resolution

Workaround
Clicking 'no' should allow you to proceed

  • This issue should be properly addressed in the upcoming 3.5.4 release
