Time on KVM guests off by 2-3 seconds on AMD Opteron(TM) Processor 6276
Issue
The time on KVM guests is off by 2-3 seconds on AMD Opteron(TM) Processor 6276. The kvm guests are using kvm-clock for the clocksource, with ntpd running, but the guest is showing as being 2-3 seconds delayed from the host.
Environment
- Host CPU - AMD Opteron(TM) Processor 6276
- VM CPU Info - QEMU Virtual CPU version (cpu64-rhel6)
- Guests using KVM
