Why kickstart installation of configuring vlan on top of bond interface is failing ?

Issue

  • Tried to configure VLAN interface on top of bonded with below options but its not successful.
bond=bond0:em1,em2:mode=4,miimon=100,lacp_rate=1 vlan=bond0.100:bond0
bond=bond0:em1,em2:mode=802.3ad,miimon=100,lacp_rate=fast vlan=bond0.100:bond0
  • Is this possible to do and if so what are the correct boot and anaconda parameters to accomplish this ?

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.1
  • anaconda
  • kickstart
