How to access files with extensions .woff in JBoss 6.3 ?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • We have web application running on jboss 6.3 and also have apache as web server. We have resources directory in web application (.war) to hold css, js, html.

The structure in this web application (xyz.war) is :

META-INF
resources
    -- css
   -- html
   -- fonts
       icomoon.woff
       icon.gif
WEB-INF

The problem is when accessing the file icomoon.woff under resources/fonts will get 404 (not found error) but accessing icon.gif under the same directory (resources/fonts) is OK.

all files under resources/html, resources/css are all working.

The direct way to access to this file on jboss for testing purpose is :
http://jobss server:8080/resources/fonts/icomoon.woff?f29r5x
not working, all permission is right.

but access this file :

http://jobss server:8080/resources/fonts/ icon.gif it is working
So my question is on jboss 6, any special settings need to add to allow access the file with special extension?

Same structure works on jboss 5 but jboss 6.3 not, which means the file format icomoon.woff under resources/fonts were acceptable on jboss5 but not on jboss 6.3.
