No SNMP trap is sent by foghorn whenever a node is fenced in a RHEL 6 High Availability cluster
Issue
- We're trying to send some
snmp
traps withfoghorn
to our monitoring server. It seems to be well configured, since when a service status changes a D-Bus message is created, foghorn
listens to it and sends the trap. The thing is that on fence events no trap is sent,. - I can't get the cluster to send an SNMP trap when a node gets fenced
- I've configured
snmptrapd
to log events and to run a script upon receiving aREDHAT-FENCE-MIB::fenceNotifyFenceNode
trap, but it never receives one when SELinux is enforcing.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 with the High Availability Add On
cman
-based clusterfoghorn
SELinux
policy isenforcing
