Best practices for managing BRMS repository on production environment

Issue

• In order to guide users who want to maintain best practices for managing BRMS repository in their development environment and production environment, is there any document or article which they can use for guidance? Especially for those users who are using file based repository and which causes the following concerns.

1. Using database BRMS repository instead of file based.
2. deploying new packages/ processes /rules etc. at the production site without affecting the existing packages.
3. backup/restore BRMS repository in case of any problem.
